Meet Christina
Hi! I am on a mission to help add more language, fun, and connection into the daily routines of families, while helping to lightening the heavy load of therapists.
As a SLP, performer (another life, long ago), parent, and music lover, I truly believe EVERYthing is better with music!
We know that music helps us learn, listen, transition, calm ourselves, and best of all, it’s FUN.
That’s why I wanted to create a specialized resource so SLPs and early childhood professionals could more simply, and consistently add the powerful benefits of song into families' daily routines.
As a practicing SLP myself, I truly understand the challenges we face in the day to day. We want to deliver the highest quality therapy to our families, but struggle to find time and energy to create the resources to do so.
As a parent, I understand that we deeply want the very best for our child, but we are pulled in a million different directions. Adding one more thing to the chaos of life with a toddler can be very overwhelming.
I hope the Early Communication Toolkit can support parents and professionals to help bring more joy and ease to the work of helping the children we love.
